Milky Lane is a dessert and milkshake kiosk at Shop 05a inside Marine Walk Shopping Centre. The centre’s store directory lists it under the same shop number and phone line (031 630 0550) as Mugg & Bean Marine Walk, right next door.

If you know the national chain from elsewhere in South Africa, you know the menu: milkshakes, waffles, ice-cream and other desserts. It’s a quick, casual stop for something sweet once you’re already at the centre, with no sit-down meals.

The rest of the centre covers the savoury side. Try Kauai for smoothies and health food, Tightline for seafood and Waxy O’Connors for pub food and drinks.

The kiosk doesn’t publish its own hours. They probably follow Mugg & Bean’s, since the two share a shop number and phone line, but check before you go. Current prices are worth checking at the counter too.
